Md. Tanvir Ehsan Amin is one of the faculty members in the Department of Civil Engineering at IUBAT - International University of Business Agricultural and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering in the year of 2012 from Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Gazipur. Consequently, he pursued his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in civil engineering from University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. At the same time, he worked as a Research Assistant (RA) in University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia for 2 years. He has many years of research experience in structural and maintenance engineering and conducted several research projects as a RA under UNITEN and UM, Malaysia. However,after completion, he was engaged in a consultancy firm. He has expertise in preparing of master plan for economic zone, infrastructure cost estimation, preparation of feasibility study report etc. Moreover, his expertise includes, but not limited to planning and designing of residential building, cost estimation and quality assurance of overall project. His fields of research interests are in engineering materials, Structural Engineering, Retrofitting, FRP materials etc.
