Dr. Md. Foisal Haque completed his degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) in 2014. He finished his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2019. Also, he finished his Second Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Structural Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) in 2024.In addition, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from BUET in 2023. His specialization is structural and tunnel engineering. Professionally, he has been a structural engineer in several consulting firms in Bangladesh since January 2015. Also, he is Professional Engineer (PEng) in Bangladesh. In addition, he is recognized Structure Engineer (SEng) from International Code Council (ICC). He has teaching experience of one year as a lecturer in probationin the World University of Bangladesh (WUB). Also, he has five month teaching experience as a lecturer in the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT).He joined in International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) since November 2022 as an Assistant Professor. His main research interest is the interaction of underground-soil-aboveground structures including the development of the small/large scale shake table test model, numerical simulation, analytical formulations, and finite element formulations considering isotropy/orthotropic/anisotropic properties of soil.

Thesis:

Conducted the Ph.D. (2023) Thesis on “Tunnel-Soil-Pile Interaction under Seismic Loading” Under the Supervision of Dr. Mehedi Ahmed Ansary, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering And Technology (BUET).

Conducted the M.Sc. (2024) Thesis on “Seismic Vulnerability Analysis of RC Frame Retrofitted with Reinforced Concrete Haunch” Under the Supervision of Dr. Mozammel Hoque, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET).

Conducted the M.Sc. (2019) Thesis on “Analytical And Numerical Analysis of Ground Movement Above a Tunnel Under Seismic Loading” Under the Supervision of Dr. Mehedi Ahmed Ansary, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering And Technology (BUET).
